Hussein Kanji is a founding partner at Hoxton Ventures, the London-based early-stage venture capital firm he co-founded to back European technology startups at seed and Series A. Before establishing Hoxton, he worked in venture capital in Silicon Valley, gaining experience across the US technology investment landscape before returning to focus on European founders.

Hoxton Ventures became notable for its early investment in Deliveroo, among other portfolio companies. Kanji is regarded as one of the figures who helped shape the institutional seed-stage investment ecosystem in Europe during its formative years in the early 2010s.
